    Custom software development in Brisbane

I help Australian businesses turn a difficult workflow or a product idea into software people can use. Work directly with a Brisbane software engineer, founder and technology leader with more than 20 years of experience.

Build around the way your business works

Start with the people using the system, the tools already in place and the result you need. Sometimes the right answer is a new application. Sometimes it is a focused integration or a repair to software you already own.

    Web and mobile products

Customer portals, operational tools and applications built around a clear first release. Define the essential workflows before adding features.

    Integrations and automation

Connect APIs, payments and existing systems so staff can spend less time moving information between screens. Plan for failed requests and duplicate events as part of the work.

    Existing software and technical direction

Investigate reliability problems, untangle delivery blockers and plan the next stage of a product. Agree on what needs changing and what is already doing its job.

    What building CueTools taught me

CueTools brings together timing, scoring, device linking, rules and native streaming. Its development involved recovering match state after reconnects, separating local preferences from shared scores, and testing how mobile apps recover after interruptions.

    How we can work together

    1. 01

      Understand the work

Map the current workflow, users, constraints and success criteria. Agree on the smallest useful scope.

    2. 02

Build and test a first slice

Put a working version in front of the people who will use it. Check the awkward cases as well as the normal path.

    3. 03

      Release with a clear handover

Plan deployment, monitoring, documentation and ongoing ownership. Use what the first release teaches us to decide what comes next.

A useful first conversation starts with the workflow, who uses it, what is going wrong and any deadline or budget constraints. If an existing product meets the need, that belongs in the discussion too.
